East of England

I am currently living in Cambridge as I complete my PhD. Local parks and trips to Norfolk have yielded many wonderful urban wildlife.

Southwest UK

I did my palaeobiology master's degree at the University of Bristol from 2021-2022. This gave me an opportunity to photograph the urban wildlife around me.

Chicago

Despite being raised in Chicago for over 20 years, for most of that time, I had no idea that Chicago was so biodiverse. I love that this city that is so urban and full of human life is also a biodiversity hotspot.

Niger

I worked as a field assistant on a dinosaur expedition in the Sahara. I spent one month digging up dinosaurs in 130 degree heat. In the early mornings I would walk around the campsite photographing the hardy birds that survived in the desert.

Thailand

I had the opportunity to visit Bangkok, Thailand in order to support a family friend in receiving a lifetime achievement award. Of course, I also took some time to photograph the amazing wildlife the bustling town of Bangkok has to offer.

South Africa

I had the incredible opportunity to visit Pafuri in Northern Kruger and Thornybush adjacent to Kruger National Park. These locations were incredible chances to see South African wildlife.

Southeastern USA

My partner has been located in Georgia and South Carolina. As a result, I've had some great opportunities to photograph the vibrant local wildlife.

Northeastern USA

It was in Boston where I fell in love with birds. Since then I've been back photographing along the coastline and in the heart of the city.

Spain

The Society of Avian Paleontology and Evolution conference in 2023 was in Málaga, Spain. It was the perfect opportunity for a bunch of bird-nerds to do some birdwatching from the sea to the mountains.

Vietnam

While doing volunteer work with Operation Walk Chicago with my mom, I took one morning off to do some birdwatching in Ho Chi Minh City's Botanical Gardens.

Antarctica

In 2014 I was fortunate enough to join Students On Ice, an organization that inspires and empowers leadership for a sustainable future, on an expedition to Antarctica.
